more than likely he is ok. I would think someone would be able to tell you something since his children ARE his family members. If your son is having a hard time of this maybe you should consider a therapist for him

Absolutely the Red Cross should be able to help you locate him, perhaps the person didn't fully understand the situation. You need to speak to someone else at the Red Cross. Your children are his family members and if they are minors you are acting on their behalf.

I hope that your children's father is okay. Surely there is someway to speak to a rep from the service in which your ex is enlisted and explain the situation to them. If nothing else, they might be able to pass along a message to his noted next of kin to get in touch with you. On a more positive outlook of it, more than likely he is safe, because I am sure that someone from the military would have contacted you knowing that he has children with you if the worse would have happened.

Go back to the Red Cross with your son. If he is a minor, take his birth certificate to prove he is next of kin to your x. They will have to help you then.

If you know what unit he is in, you could call them and ask for the family support group. They should be able to steer you in the right direction.

Isn't your son one of his family members? Get him to call.
