we are getting married next year & are planning to go on our honeymoon at the end of July beining of Aug for 14 days, we have different ideas of where & what we like to do.
As for my partner he would like to go to paris / orlando / germany etc, has he likes history & to have fun at the thame parks as well (belongs it's not to hot).
As for me just a nice relaxing holiday by a beach or a villa with your own pool but not to hot, don't mind exploring some history, like thame parks.
i am really strugging for ideas so any surguestion would be very greatful.

Go to Paris! The Riviera Maya in Mexico is beautiful, but will be too hot in August.

Hello!
Honeymoon should be one of the most special times one spends so you should take the best decision possible.
My advice is to decide on something you both like, a combination of two modalities.
Don´t take an organized tour with other people. It leaves without any freedom of decision while you have to respect the schedule the have planed.
Think about Venice or Paris - very romantic - long walks, nice food, nice landscape.
And at the end of your stay, you should think about some quiet and relaxing days, like a spa, a seaside hotel etc, to have time to enjoy one another.
If you choose Budapest - Hungary - the have great spas. From Venice you can visit Dubravnick in Croatia.
I wouldn´t recommend Germany for a honeymoon, maybe the Green Forest mountains or Heidelberg, but I would leave it as one of the last options.
And why not Argentina - great romantic tango atmosphere - although a bit cold.
And also a cruise to the north of Europe, because the Mediterranean is too hot in July. Beautiful land scape, long days, nice luxurious atmosphere, and time saving as you travel while you speep or eat etc.
Hope you make your best decision and have a perfect honeymoon, with great memories to tell to your friends and family and to your children in the future.

You need to come check out Micigan. We have the most lighthouses in the 50 states and beautiful beaches. It does get hot but not too hot for swimming. The great lakes are beautiful at that time of year. There are wonderful bed and breakfasts in the area. There is one called Birds of a Feather near Holland Michigan in Sagatuck. It has an indoor swimming pool not to mention that you are minutes away from Lake Michigan. There is there Michigan Adventure about an hour drive for some roller coaster excitment. Or you can visit old historic Mackinaw Island. Cars are not permitted and the only way to get there is by boat and you can rent bikes and bike around the island. It is rather fun and neat. Something to look into!

Orlando would be good because their are theme parks there-DisneyWorld and the beaches are around there. You could Rent a beach house or something and then go to DisneyWorld. St. Augustine is further north in Florida but it has great history stuff. Never been to Paris but I know there's a Disney there and I'm sure a lot of history and culture. Another place would be Italy. I don't know if that is a good option, but you could probably find a villa to suit you and he could learn about the history and culture of the area.good luck and best wishes!

Go to a travel agent.
We avoided going because we thought it would be more expensive. So we spent 3 months looking on our own and always hitting walls. A friend at work mentioned going to a local travel agent & mentioned how they actually don't charge you more. We went & 20 minutes later we had exactly what we wanted for almost $1000 less than we had found on our own. And if we had booked earlier, while we were searching on our own, it would have been even cheaper.
Write down how much your budget is & everything you both like. Take it with you & see what an agent can come up with for you. Good luck!

You could go on a tour of France. Check out Paris for the history and amazing food...go see the small, adorable villages...and go to the south of France for great beaches and Mediterranean food! You could also hit up EuroDisney for a theme park adventure :)

We are going to Ireland in the fall. Call around and get prices first.... it might change your mind if you can get deal to Paris or a Better hotel in Germany. Also keep in mind if you feel like dealing with people who don't speak english..... feel like learning another langauge?? England is also very nice in the summer.
