No. The Heartagram was originally created as a logo for the self described "Love Metal" band HIM. This trademarked symbol combines a heart with a pentagram and it symbolizes the contrast or perfect balance between life and death or love and hatred, or even love and death together. Band member Valo has said that "the heartagram stands for HIM as a band, as an entity, and for 'love metal' in general,".

The heartagram has been falsely associated with satanism, so some believe HIM is satanic, which is false according to a band member.

The symbol is sported as a tattoo by many HIM fans, including professional skater and "Jackass" stuntman Bam Margera. Fan-submitted photos of such tattoos decorated the lyric booklet for the limited edition of "Dark Light."

Note: A similar-looking symbol, with heart and triangle interlaced, is sometimes worn as a decorative embellishment of the Star of David

I know nothing about a heartagram. I know a little about Irish or Celtic jewelry.

Maybe you are thinking of a Claddagh? It is commonly made into rings, but also pendants, bracelets, Christmas ornaments and pretty much anything else you can think of. In the center there is a heart, the heart is surrounded by two shaking hands, the heart is topped with a crown. The heart symbolizes love, the shaking hands friendship, and the crown loyalty. Depending on how the ring is worn, it can symbolize friendship or love. If the heart is worn outward it symbolizes friendship and that the wearer's heart is available. If the heart is worn inward it means the wearer's heart is taken and the wearer is involved and/or married. My wife gave me a Claddagh ring as a wedding gift and I wear it all the time (heart inward of course).

Another piece of Irish jewelry is a Celtic Knot or a Love Knot. It is usually detailed embroidery or metalwork which cannot be untied.

There is also the Trinity Knot. It is similar to the Love Knot but is triangular and represents the Holy Trinity.

The Irish also commonly wear St. Brigid's cross or a Celtic cross.

Hope this helps, not sure if this is what you are looking for.

The heartagram is the symbol of Finnish love-metal band HIM. It is an infusion of a heart symbol and a pentagram.
According to HIM front-man, Ville Valo it represents both love and death. The balance of good and bad, the two main themes in life and is the common theme in Valo's lyrics.

Many people mistakenly think that the heartagram symbol is that of pro-skater Bam Margera.

In truth, Bam has legally licensed use of the heartagram from Ville Valo. While Bam has met and become friends with Valo and even directed a few of the bands videos, he has nothing more to do with the band.

He is simply a big fan who adorns himself with their logo to show his love and appreciation of the band.

A similar-looking symbol, with heart and triangle interlaced, is sometimes worn as a decorative embellishment of the Star of David.
