Because man makes up who he wants God to be and God is only who He is.

'DIFFERENT religions are simply different roads leading to the same goal. After all, there is only one God, is there not?' That sentiment is shared by many who feel that although religious affiliation is important, it does not really matter which religion one chooses to follow.

At first glance, this argument may seem plausible, since it is true that there is only one God, the Almighty. (Isaiah 44:6; John 17:3; 1 Corinthians 8:5, 6) However, we cannot overlook the obvious differences—even contradictions—among the many religious groups who claim to serve the true God. They differ greatly in their practices, their beliefs, their teachings, and their requirements. The differences are so great that those belonging to one religion or group find it difficult to understand or accept what the others teach or believe.

On the other hand, Jesus said: "God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth." (John 4:24) Does worshiping God with truth allow for a range of contradictory ideas about who God is, what his purposes are, and how he wants to be worshiped? Is it logical to believe that it is immaterial to Almighty God how we worship him?

If you want to please God, religious affiliation is vital—but not with just any religious group or denomination. You need to base your choice of religion on accurate Bible knowledge, not on unproved dogmas or hearsay. (Proverbs 16:25) Learn the requirements for true religion. Compare them with your own beliefs. Then choose accordingly.—Deuteronomy 30:19.

Because sadly, there is one Satan the Devil and many demons. The first lie that Satan told in the Garden of Eden started mankind on the wrong track and now false religion and it's teachings which are based on the many lies of God's enemy, have brought nothing but misery to all who adhere to it. Wars fought in the name of religion are repulsive to the one true God.
Many go to church, yet still engage in or condone immorality as if God overlooks such behavior. The religious leaders themselves often practice wrongdoing, yet expect their members to live decent lives. How unfortunate for those who put their trust in them__
Matthew 15:14--"Let them be. Blind guides is what they are. If, then, a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”

2 Corinthians 4:4 is a starter for the answer to that.

"In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

Also, people are not interested in truth, but in having their itching ears tickled; in other words having people teach them what they WANT to hear, not the TRUTH that they NEED to hear.

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." -- 2Timothy 4:3, 4.

TRUE TEACHINGS do exist, but Where Can You Find Them? That is the question. Click on the links below:

It is man's will to have so many religions. The Bible has been written in so many versions to suit man. As long as one believes in Jesus, that is all that matters. As far as difficulties you will find them in every church, again, man's will not Gods.

Fools. Many of you are fools. Half of you don't even know what Jehova means. It means "I Am" I Am the living God. The father, the son, the Holy spirit. I am absolutley sick of ignorant Christians. Don't even try to whitness to others unless you have read the Bible from front to back. And don't try to whitness to Muslims until you have read the Quran from front to back. You can't tell someone that they follow the wrong god when you don't know what they believe.

As I see it there is one supreme being. And since we are all different, we have different religions. Its man that have made it into a competition, a competition for power. Its funny but I have never seen women get into fights about religion. Its men who can not control themselves their feelings. Test it yourself and see who get irritated faster men or women.

Usually the god is different--NOT the same at all.

The attributes of the demons posing as THE GOD is quite often the problem.

There is one demon who INSISTS that EVERYONE in the World
SUBMIT to it...if they do not SUBMIT they must die!

I expect that is a perfect example!
