There was a cartoon I saw once ...
Two men were standing infront of a homeless shelter. One of them says, "You know, if I could ask God just one question, I would ask why he doesn't do anything to stop the pain and cruelty of this world."
The other guy turns to him and asks, "Then why don't you just ask Him?"
And the first guys answers, "Because I'm afraid he would ask me the same question."
Do you get what the cartoonist was trying to point out?
The bible says that if you are a christian, that you should literally be the 'hands and feet' of christ alive in the world. That means that when we see cruelty, or suffering, or injustice, that - as representitives of Christ - we're supposed to try and do something to stop it.
The problem is that not enough of us do it.
I remember seeing the movie Camelot with Sean Connery and Richard Gere. At one point, the evil Prince Malagant shouts, "My God makes me strong so I can live my life!"
And Sean Connery, as King Arthor replies, "God makes us strong only for a little while, so that we can help one another."
Countries will rise and fall. Earthly power will continually shift from one nation to another. It is the way of things, but if those of us living in better situations would try harder to help those who are less fortunate, the entire world would be better off.

Because we, as the countries with more should help out the other countries. His love should be shown not just to Americans or UK, but to the whole world.

Here's one scripture, (John 3:16-21) that shows God truly cares about the whole world. Also, according to Jeremiah 10:23, man cannot direct his own steps.

Checked out the per capita wealth rankings recently, the Gini tables, the quality of life indices?
Other than total wealth the USA isn't even in the first half of the G20 nations in most measures.
