What's a good side dish for venison chili and venison fajitas?

My BF's neighbor gave him some venison and he asked me to make something with it. I'll have warm bread, and then cream cheese flan for dessert.

For the chili rice and more rice for the fajitas of course. You can even stuff your fajitas with rice. That is the perfect side. And of course you have your lettuce, tomatoes dice peppers and onions of course. It doesn't make a difference on what kind of rice you are making.
Also you can mix the venison with the rice sort of like a dirty rice with mushrooms.

Some kind of roasted vegetables maybe? Get some red, yellow and green peppers, a couple of onions, some large mushrooms and either grill or roast them. If you have a grill pan you can grill them on top of the stove, or roast them in the oven. Coat them with olive oil, sprinkle a little salt, pepper, maybe some oregano and go to it.
