am sure there are many people in the history who crucified and tortured because of their good believes,
and now a day we see many people who are tortured for many reasons and they are innocents people, for example in Iraq people are drilling and burned a live by the name Islam, just because the have different believe “even between Muslims them selves”
if we just conceder that anyone who is going to crucified and tortured is becoming a savior then all the living things in the world and Universe including my people in Moon will be forgiven.

Him being crucified wouldnt be a big deal at all if He hadnt been ressurrected after, to prove He was God. No one else has returned to life, restored and appearing to thousands of people 3 days after they were brutally killed. Thats the important part.

It's true that crucifixion and torture are not unique. But the pain Christ experienced in the Garden as well, and his Resurrection were.

Think about the Garden a bit - nobody was hurting him, he was just praying - and yet he started bleeding from every poor. That's not normal. It was mostly there that he encountered feeling every pain, and sorrow of the universe - which is more than any mortal could begin to handle without going into shock and dying.

The crucifixion gets a lot of attention because it's easily visible, but that was just a small part of it all.

thanks.

yes.
it did not make Jesus a savior.
it made Him THE Savior.
you fail to realize that Jesus took on the pain and punishment of the sins of all (YOU included) humans that have ever lived or will ever live
on the cross that day.
you would not be able to handle the pain and suffering for your own sins, much less anyone elses.
yes, others have died.
yes, others have been crucified.
but no one has ever done what Jesus did and no one ever will.
you just have no concept, do you?
"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness;
but unto us that are saved it is the power of God."
1 Corinthians 1:18
"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools".
Romans 1:22
"The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14 (New International Version)

its not the fact that He was crucified...its the fact that he rose again 3 days later. Everyone was crucified during Jesus' times. They're not saviors either bc they didnt rise from the dead. So ya, it is a big Deal that Jesus is savior. Nobody else is and nobody else ever will be so u shouldnt even try to say that other ppl are..nobody wants to hear it

Jesus Crucifixion does not make him the savior, His Resurrection does.

In theological terms Christ took the sins of mankind upon Himself and suffered and died then rose on the third day to redeem us all.

In may sound blasphemy and I apologize to any one who is offended by from a purely theological stand point Christ did not need to be crucified He only needed to suffer and in that suffering take the sins of the world upon himself. He could have died in agony from cancer, then rose on the third day and salvation would still be intact.

if all Christ did was Die then death has won the battle. But Christ Rose and Life has won the day.

In abstract terms we are a people of summer. In Fall things die (the sin of Adam) , in Winter they are dead (the death of Christ) in spring they come back to life (The Resurrection) and in Summer they Live (The life of those who accept the Lord)

Jesus's crucifixion did not MAKE Him a Savior. He was crucified BECAUSE He was the Savior of mankind. That is why He came to earth in the first place.

Ever hear of someone being crucified and asking their Father to forgive them for doing it ? That's the big difference,He was perfect in every way.

I didn't think so but it was worth your thumbs down.

Jesus' death on the cross is not a "big deal", for many have done that. It is all about His resurrection!

It is NOT about WHAT you believe [even Satan "believed"], but rather HOW you live. Are you following the Word of God, as it is written in the Bible?

Do not believe what "man" says. Seek the truth for yourself. You have that obligation. You will have to answer for the deeds you have done.

What made him the savior is that he resurrected.
If you do not believe that, then that's ok, but I believe he arose from the dead.

This belief has managed to survive 2000 years.
