It is normal to have a certain amount of stress prior to a test.Be prepared is my first suggestion.D'ont try to cram the night before.Get a good night sleep;eat a healthy breakfast and most of all relax.A brief walk prior to the time of the exam;a warm bath before going to class is simple, but helpful.Being anxious uses a lot of energy.Try talking to yourself in a reassuring way also helps. There is no one answer for everyone.Worrying will not change the outcome of the test,so when you enter the room concentrate on the task at hand.Good Luck.

Just think of it this way. If you fail you can sit it again, it is just £20. So go into the test and don't worry about passing or failing, because you will pass either this time, next time or at worse on the third attempt. Consider the first go a "trial run" if you pass then it's a bonus. If you go in desparate to pass 1st time you are putting yourself under too much pressure and may fail from worry, if you go in just to do the test then you will probably pass and won't mind if you don't. See my logic? It worked for me (I passed first time).

Breathe. Take long, deep breathes while studying and during the test. It's important for your brain to get oxygen.

Give yourself study breaks to allow your brain to process the information it's taking in. Eat well--avoid high sugar, processed foods. And SLEEP. Whatever you do, do not pull an all-night-er. Try to get in 8 hours at least on Sunday before the test.

Just take your time and make sure to go back and check your answers once you have done the test

A lot of the questions are worded quite sneakily to make sure you read the questions properly as well

Good luck x

Dont worry too much about it,its mostly common sense, think about your answers and dont rush it.

Dont know what a previous person was talking about ,ive never heard of questions on tyre pressures or towing weights of caravans and I know loads of people who have done the theory test.

Peppermint is supposed to help you stay calm.
Don't follow the advice people might give you about going to bed early. Stick to your normal schedule so you won't feel tired.
Take your mind of things the night before by watching a movie or something.

Good luck!

i would recommend you have plenty of sleep the night before and read the theory book before you go.also expect the unexpected, there are some silly questions on there.i had a lot of tyre pressure questions and general safety of a car, plus towing caravans, weight etc.its not all about speed limits and road signs.good luck
