For b-fast, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, soft fruit like peaches or mandarin oranges.
Snack fruit or veggies
Lunch, make a half pb&J on whole wheat smash it flat and cut it into tiny pieces. Don't use to much PB. Cheese, or cottage cheese. You can also give leftovers from dinner the night before.
Snack, Yougurt, small pieces of sandwich meat.
Dinner, you can almost give him anything you eat. He is smelling what your cooking so why not let him try it. Cut everything up small, or smash it and mush it, mix with a little milk, and youv'e got your dinner made into baby food. You'll be able to tell how big of pieces he can handle, his gums do well at mashing.
He sounds like he likes food, wouldn't you?!!
As for recipes, chicken and noodles is yummy. Lasgane is a good one. Soups are really good to give toddlers too. You can go to All Recipes On line to get some really good recipes.
Sounds like you are doing all the right things, keep up the good work and you will have a well balanced eater!!

Hi,
I have a 14 month old son now, but not too long ago I was in the same boat. I would suggest giving him (if he's not lactose intolerant) some cubed cheese, little bits of chicken, and other things. My little guy also likes fresh fruit. He likes cut up banana (fresh) and pears and peaches from a can. I've found my little guy likes cheese, and really cut up hot dog. (I slice it lengthwise, then lengthwise again, then cut it up.) My little guy really liked a some broccoli with a little bit of rice. I blended it up in the blender. I think it's equal parts broccoli to rice and a little bit of water. Anyway, now he's old enough, you can also try a cut up orange, and some sliced grapes. Anything he can pick up by himself, he would like. I also give my son pieces of bread, and some Cherrios. (You'll have to watch him when he eats these, in case he hasn't had these before.) You have to watch him while he eats anyway. You could also try some yogurt, or some cottage cheese. My guy likes those too.
Good luck with your little guy and enjoy him! I hope I was of help to you!

Yogurt, apples (diced), bananas, canned fruit cocktail (it comes in 100% juice now instead of syrup), applesauce, nutrigrain bars, cooked chicken breast diced small, pasta with a little butter and parm. cheese, hot dogs, and ravioli cut up. My son pretty much eats everything...he really likes green beans and pasta!
Good luck!!

My son is 13 months and he wouldn't eat baby food. He eats big people food. If i eat a Pb&j he eats one too.(he loves those.) Muffins(blueberry and banna nut) are his favorite for breakfest while he loves shreded chicken and boiled carrots and sweet potatoes are some of his fave dinner food.

my daughter like eggs and omelets. i'll make different kinds of soups and then blend them a little bit. also steak, she loves steak. I'll give her a big piece to gum/suck, and then i'll chop it up small and mix with squash or sweet potatoes. and semi-firm tofu is a great way to get protein in them without having to cook anything!

I think it is Gerber that makes these, but they are called like "First foods" and they are beef sticks and chicken sticks. They are basically like Vienna Sausage, they're soft meat so they can chew them easily. Both of mine loved those.

just make sure you only introduce one new food per week or so. that way if he has a bad reaction to something, youll know what it is.
