I babysit from home because I have children of my own. While the older ones are at school, I'm home with my three year-old. I babysit a 2 year-old, but the mother doesn't like to pay me and makes it known although she had confessed to me that every other place she had called before me were charging too much. Plus she is trying to force me to potty train her son because she is too busy hanging out after work. So, I need to look for another child to care for. I'm signed on with sittercity, but no luck yet. Could you tell me of any websites or places that I could contact? I live in Southern Ct. Thank you very much.

You can list yourself as a child care provider in the database for your local Child Care Resource and Referral agency. Every state has one. Goto www.naccrra.org to find the contact information for your area. CCR&Rs are a no cost referral services for families who are looking for childcare. Get your name on their list and as families call in, your name and contact info will be given out.
