I've been having a no strings sex only kinda relationship with somebody now for 6 months things are great at moment, when we are together its all great sex, company. This is first person i've been with since splitting from ex 18 months ago, i'm more than happy with how things are but, friends are constantly knocking us, they dont believe i can be happy with this, or it can continue to make me happy in future. No we are not bf gf but neither of us sleep with other people, this suits us and makes us happy but, can/will it be able to last like this???

Who makes up the rules about relationships besides yourself. No one else makes the rules for me. You can be happy with whatever you decide. I think that it is hard to be in a sex only relationship without eventually either party becoming more attached. It is human nature when you spend time with a person you eventually start caring for them. Do what makes you happy. If this is making you happy right now then leave it at that. Things always change between people. You will either get tired of this or the two of you will eventually become more.

I don't think we are built to permanently be in a sex-only relationship. Women certainly at some point need more than that. What interests me though is that you say you have great sex, great company, no other partners, so it sounds to me like you are dating. Not every relationship has to be 'going' somewhere or take a serious turn at first. I say if you're both happy enjoy it and if you want to stop your friends from labelling it them maybe you should also stop trying to label it yourself and just relax and see how it goes...

Good luck and enjoy whilst you can!

Not really because if you ended up falling in love with one of those sleep buddies than what are you going to do if that one buddy doesn't want something more, or it can be the other way around what do you do than.

That's my feelings towards that situation, but I could be wrong so people are very happy just by having a sex Buddie. So it all depends on you and what you really want out of it.

P.s. feel free to email me with more questions.

It may take some time but one of you will soon want more. There's a reason why your having sex together you're just not being honest with each other. The only way it would be OK would be if you were both psychopaths with no feelings whatsoever for each other.

i dont think so...
but hey u guys talk obviously?
find somethin u both like doin other than it
and i m sure things will get better
the fact that ur havin doubts shows u want more than just sex... and r doubtin the relationship
in any relationship communication is imp!
ask urself - DO u want it to last ? and if so, like this? or ru looking for more than just physicall attraction?

If you're happy and it suits you both then why worry what anyone else thinks.
