"I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy" was not Tom Waits, W.C. Fields, Fred Allen (he said "full" bottle ane "full" frontal labotomy). It would be best to attribute this quote to Dorothy Parker, American short-story writer and poet, 1893-1967. Although Tom Waits did use the quote in the 1977 TV show "Fernwood2Night", Parker coined it long before. Use the internet people-all of your research is there!!!!!!
