Try the Remington Wet2Straight...it only costs about 30 dollars, and let me tell you it works. I have very thick, curly, frizzy hair, and when I straighten it, it looks fantastic. The thing about this straightening iron though is that it reaches very high temperatures, so you have to be careful not to damage your hair. You have to use a lot of conditioner for your hair and make sure your hair is damp (not to wet or too dry) when you straighten it.

I bought a Con-air at Walmart. Paid 30 bucks for it and it works just as well as the $200 that my stylist uses.

How cheap? I have a HAI that I got for 80 bucks. Works great.
