if so, what is your conclusion?

I have pondered this.

I concluded that we exist to experience.
We are each here for a reason.
We are also all connected.
There is a God.
Live life, enjoy and share what you have (help others whenever possible), love, and be happy.

We are here go glorify God, that is, to allow Him to experience through us.

Peace.

I think perhaps we were created as an experament. Created by a creative mind type who existed in a place where sin if known causes a end to that forms life and yet this creation was which was loved after creation some how got spoiled, from an outside force. I think afterwards He had a created being whom He loved which was genetically sick and He is trying to save as many as He can to bring theminto His world. He desires our companionship and is willing to help us anyway He can, always working within some framwaork of physical laws which accompanied the creation, and without which the creation ends.

He continues to work on how He might save us all. We are not yet smart enough to help Him much other than to accept that which He has offered, and we must do that voluntarily.

I think part of the rule system that is accepted by those in Heaven will not allow life forms such as us to graduate to that world if we do not want to abide by the rules and those who do not want to abide do not take that step of reliquishing our flawed existence and asking to be healed and accept healer help. For God to force us to accept help in my opinion would mean we are not suitable friends to have. You might make a si,ilar decision about someone who although they needed you as a friend refused to be tyour friend.

I have no idea if my theory is correct but it does fit scripture. Thus we are here to become God's friends if we want too.

I pondered for about three decades. To me the question is important but makes absolutely no sense at the same moment. As a matter of fact, thinking about existence only bothers me as long as I think about it. The question is always answered the moment I stop asking. Therefore I stopped asking and as a result the question is permanently answered. Yeaaaaahhhh !!!!

no pondering required.
no conclusion required.
God has told us in His best selling Book, The Bible.
We were created to spend eternity with God.

My conclusion after many years of thought and study including graduate level physics is that we are based on mathematics.

Just my own. The purpose is to manipulate my environments to my benefit as I see fit, given that I've Dominion from God Almighty to do so. It's really shaping up to be a good life, all things considered. Love, money; privilege; yes; not bad at all!

The cheif end of man is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever. The unbeliever has no explanation for this existence, we are products of mere chance. But they live inconsistent lives for they live as if life has some purpose.

Good question. If you go by materialist assumptions, you would have to say that there is no reason. If you go by Christian assumptions, you would have to say that the "principle end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever." Science is neutral on the subject.

I used to ponder. Now my pessemistic side says God made us for entertainment. He especially must like torturing me.
