My boyfriend's (have been in a relationship for 3 years) uncle is getting married next month so we will both be attending their wedding..I know his family very well..what would be the appropiate thing to wear to the wedding? I don't want to be overdressed or underdressed...just want advice with etiquette. Thank you!

Try a nice sun dress that falls below the knee. not white or black.

If you have your hair over the top go for simple jewellery and a nice but simple dress. If the dress stands out keep the hair and jewellery to a minimum. Or you could try an find out what other members of the family ar wearing and that way you would have a general idea how dressed up to get...

Don't wear white! Find a nice dress or pant suil, dress up a bit, but don't look like you belong in the wedding party!

A dress you would wear to church but not something you would wear to a dance. Or slacks and a nice blouse.

Wear a simple black A-line dress that somes to your knees, black shoes and purse. One like that famous "little black dress" you hear about . That is very appropriate.
