I've met some dastardly little f*ckers in my time. What say you? Quick now, or I'll be forced to unsheath my rod.

Personally, I hate other people's kids. I dislike my own crotch critters from time to time because of the crap they do, but I still love them. I sometimes have days when my heart is about to explode with joy about some cutesy thing they said or did, then I have a lot of days where I am considering ripping my brain out to examine it and hope to find the reason why I did this. Twice.

Innocent? Well, the age 0-4 years is pretty innocent. After that, unless said kid is mentally handicapped honestly or by proxy...they know right from wrong at a rudimental level. But SOME kids still LOVE to try you!! Kids get off on pressing the buttons of their parents and other adults. They love to test their limits. It's sometimes cute...until said kid encounters aunt J who don't play that ish, and said kid catches an earfull or gets pimpslapped. I came from the era that a good old fashioned whooping was proper recourse for little bratty assed kids. A lot more kids would still be able to maintain that *innocence* well into pre-teen hood if we could bring back the good old days.

But, hey. What do I know? I mean, we didn't have many school shootings, kids getting arrested by the poilce in 3rd grade, and kids telling adults what they are going to do (*or else*) back in my day.

Bring back public floggings. Singaporean style.

Children are born innocent, but without direction, they can become demanding. Of interest, we are beginning to see a growing rate of mental illness in young children, with suicide rates going up in adolescent males.

Of interest, a study done some 15 years ago on 300 children, shows just how their imaginations ca get out of hand. In a UCLA study, the children receive simple examinations by a doctor. Nothing invasive or requiring the removal of clothing. Then, for eight weeks, they are interviewed twice a week about what the doctor did. By the end of the study, all 300 children had claimed the doctor have sexual abused them in some manner.

I've come to a conclusion, through meditation, and attempting to remember details from my childhood. (I do a lot of crazy **** like that)

I've come to the conclusion that I am exactly the same person that I was the day I was born. I have not changed. I have learned things, and had experiences, but I still think exactly the same way that I did back then.

In which case, if I was innocent then, then I'm still innocent now. But I don't believe that. I hold everyone responsible for their actions. There are those who love, and those who hate. And they deserve whatever they get, in either case.

There are bad seeds from birth. A psychopath is born a psychopath and behaves so from infancy. A baby is innocent until it is old enough to start acting out its nature. It depends on the social level of the family and help given the child as to whether he becomes a crack addict killer or a politician or used car salesman. We all come into life with certain traits, some just do better than others. By the way, innocence is something a rare adult has. Innocence is something found in tribal people who have been untouched by "civilization".

If a child does not know the difference beween right or wrong then in a sense that child is innocent. I would think that up to a certain point children are innocent until someone lets them know the difference in their actions. Sometimes they know something is wrong but keep doing it until they are certain that the punishment will follow their actions. Some kids have to be shown and just not told.

Children learn by association.
They mimic the parents behaviour and act out in a fashion that they have seen and are associated with.
If you see a child screaming to get what they want, the parents are likely to have that personality.
They learn from associating with others, such as in day care.
Children are influenced by their parents and how much "latitude" they are given.

There comes a point in a child's life when they can't be treated like an innoncent person anymore. They have been taught right and wrong and once that is successfully in effect then they can't be treated as "innocent" anymore...even if they ignore it when they get older.

It's a concept called LEARNED BEHAVIOR. No one is born automatically knowing how to be "dastardly little f*ckers" as you put it, its how they are taught......

I think those dastardly kids are the result of bad parenting. BUT, Some kids are just born bad seeds with crossed roots
