OK i was dating a girl, and she was quite ignorant.
She had never been to college, or hold any degree or certification.
Yet, she acted mentally as if she was a Harvard Graduate.

She would demand respect as such, and I couldn't help but think that she needed to earn her place in this world before demanding respect.

So this first question is for the ladies...If you have never finished college, and may not be in the best shape of your life...
then why do you expect your man to be educated, accomplished, and in good shape?

Second question, why do you demand respect as if you were an accomplished individual when you may be ignorant.
Beauty is only skin deep.

whoa... well first off any person deserves respect... and if you were dating her why would you not respect her, you wouldn't be dating her if you didn't see something in her.

second I don't think college is the only thing people get respect for. I personally have not finished college yet, but I have a good respectable job and it means a lot to me, because I have worked to get where I am and I think that is worth at least a little credit... but at the same time respect is a given only to those who are worthy, so if she is demanding respect and not giving any then no she doesn't deserve it.

As for expecting men to be in shape, educated and accomplished when they aren't themselves in shape, educated and accomplished, thats more of a vanity issue I think. I married someone who was not working, not that great in shape and had not been to college, and sometimes it worries me, because in the stereotypical marriage its the man who is suppose to be able to take care of the family. I don't necessarily believe that so its not that big of a deal, but it does worry me, because if anything happens to me and my job the medical and dental insurances, savings plans, retirement, and a lot of other things will be in jeopardy, but if I had married for money, i would be more worried that my future was in jeopardy because I married a man I didn't truly love. But unfortunetly some people find money and success more important than true love... If you don't like that type of women, find one that wants to love and be loved and won't worry about all the materialist things in the world.

Also this women could have grown up in an environment where that was the norm... but who really knows.

Beauty may be skin deep, but your ugliness goes clear to the bone. You don't deserve a Harvard graduate. You deserve some 19 year old with 2 babies living in a trailer with her ex con boyfriend.

Because we deserve respect regardless of whether we have been educated to your standards or not.

I believe, however, it may have been difficult to discuss certain things in your area of expertise or life with this female.

Some individuals learn about life outside of the realm of certificates and degrees. Hopefully you will never endure life's hard lessons.

In what ways was she ignorant?

I would have to say that I do hope that you can meet your ideal girl and you end up falling in love with her. Then she can turn and see something better and just bring your pride to the ground by leaving you!!!! Every woman should be respected!!!!

What kind of women are you hanging out with? You need to hang out with a higher class of women? Sounds like your taste in women are low! Or, maybe a higher class of women know that you are full of crap!!!
