Do you know who has it? Go get it back.

I lost my wallet years ago. Was no money in it, but did have three credit cards. Called the companies and canceled the cards, went and got a replacement driver's license. Got on with life.

I found a ladys wallet at the water company and looked in it .it had about seven hundred dollars in it. my home had caught fire with no insurance and I had twenty dollars in my wallet. and I thought of keeping it. but I turned it in. some people will keep a lost wallet and some wont. its a human thing I cant explain.Yes one reaps what one sows in this world call it karma. or whatever.Peace

Cancel the credit cards, change your DL# and pray your social wasn't on anything..

I would worry more about identity theft than anything else. Keep track of your accounts for a little while, make sure no money is moving elsewhere.

well, I dont carry credit cards, or a bank card in my wallet, and not a LOT of money, so whatever cash is in it I hope they are able to use it and I go get a new wallet.

what goes around comes around?....stop leaving your wallet laying around where it can be seen...its suppose to be in your pocket or purse (for the women)

mistakes do happen...... but your wallet has your life in it

Just let the person know that you know they have your wallet and ask them to kindly give it back to you.

I guess it's time to replace all your credit cards (cancelling the old ones too) and IDs.

Of course it's not ideal, but there's not much else to do unfortunately unless you know who has it.

If you can prove these allegations, either file a police report or a small claims court case.

Cancel all credit cards immediately and replace what I.D. you had in there.
