There are many good reasons why you may not have heard from her. Field duty, training school, etc etc. Have you tried writting a letter to her? e-mail? Phone call? If you do not hear from her in a reasonable amount of time, The Red Cross will get ahold of her, but only if there is a family emergency that requires her attendance (death in the family, etc.) I would get in touch with your Congress person or the State National guard Commander, they are not "officially" in an active duty soldiers chain of command, but they sure are helpful and can get most any information you need. Be advised though, these should only be contacted if all other means have been exhausted. Good Luck.

You can call any army facility over there and they can give you a number to her base. Here is a link to the base in Heidelberg, Germany. Good Luck

You'd have to contact the American Red Cross. They are the only way (officially) to get an emergency message to your sister.

Otherwise, only the person she has designated as her next of kin iis entitled to information about her. If she's married, that next of kin would be her husband. If she's unmarried it is *usually* the parent(s) of the military member, but not always. The military member files a designated next-of-kin in their paperwork.

Good luck.

You can always try the Red Cross. They will contact her unit and the commander will probably make her call or write.
