why do people not clean up after their dogs ?i get really annoyed at people who let their dogs crap in the street and don't bother to clean it up!its not pleasant to get home and find dog crap on your shoes or on your childs buggy wheels.why don't they tie a bag to the dogs leash before going out then there is no excuse for not cleaning it up.i have seen many people letting their dogs have a crap in the street then walking off and leaving it.how would they like it if i did a crap on the street then left it there for people to tread in?i am not saying all dog owners are like this but please people clean up after your dogs!

true,,i have a dog myself who walks with me each morning to school,i do clean up after her i must add ! BUT there are worse than just those who allow fouling,,what about the ones who DO pick it up and bag it just to throw the bag on the floor,,i pass the same designed bags full of what can only be described as something that came from the back of an elephant every morning,,i havent spotted the culprit yet but as this is where all the children walk it cant be too long before i see them.who goes to all the effort of bagging it just to throw the bag,,makes no sense at all to me!

I could not possibly agree more! If people can't be more responsible with their pets, they shouldn't own them. I don't know about all states but in Indiana it is illegal to walk your dog and not pick up their excrement and carries a $150 fine per incident reported. Personally I carry a roll of poo bags with me when I walk my puppies because I know how nasty and annoying that is. When I didn't own a dog, I found poo in my yard constantly and with 3 kids, I would get so mad!

I remember hearing in the news some places have people patrolling the owners with dogs
and they get a fine for not picking after their dog
we should have more of those patrols

I agree with you. I alway's carry a plastic bag with me to clean up my dog's messes. The owners that don't ,are irresponsible and they don't care,who's lawn their dog, does their duty on.

human's are lazy by nature. personally i had a neighbor who's dog would poop in my yard every morning. one morning i caught them and walked out with a baggie picked it up and handed it to them and told them i would be more than happy to bring their daily deposits to their home every evening when i got home. needless to say not only does the dog not relieve itself in my yard i've seen the human carrying a baggie. sometimes you just have to say something, and not just walk around complaining about the person. speak up.

In my country nobody does that. My sister has a dog and she will never pick up his things, unless it's on her property. The concept is simply nonexistent to her.
I think people who don't do it are either bored or don't care or they think that since poo is organic material it's gonna be beneficial to the environment. Unfortunately shoes aren't part of nature.

I agree! They make little trash bags and poop scoops for a reason....people just need to be more considerate.

i agree 100%. it's part of owning a dog. take care of it. besides, in some places, leaving it is illegal.
