Islam full fill my life and yet everyday i see on the news that Islam is preaching violent

No one ever knows enough about Islam because learning and living the Islamic way, properly, is a life long experience. What attracted me to Islam were the many beautiful loving Muslims I met as well as the basic tenets of the faith. Contrary to common belief, we women do not all dress in black and hide our faces, these are personal decisions. I recommend you hit the web and find some good Islamic sites such as Islamway (http://www.islamway.com/newenglish/ ) to educate yourself. I found Islam to be the most complete religion of all. Not all of us are fundies, some of us like the total lifestyle it teaches. Some may carry it to extremes, but there extremists in all religions. The question is not really a very good one but I have done my best to help.b If you want to learn about Islam, READ THE QU'RAN!

Islam does not preach violence. That's what the media want you to think to justify Bush and Blair in there ridiculous war. When did Iraq attack America? When did Afghanistan?
Islam is a religion of peace no matter what anyone says. I live it and i know better than someone who reads a few web sites and thinks they know all about Muslims.
Let them have there ignorance, Muslims know the truth and more importantly Allah knows the truth.
1.5 billion Muslims and only less than 1% are violent extremist. So why are we all tared with the same brush. Because it suits Bush's agenda and if they are too thick and brainless to see that then i could care less what they think. You'll never change an idiots mind.

what are you seeing on tv was not the truth some pepole and i don't know how are them want to put Islam in a bad image so that all nations think that Muslims are voilent pepole but u have to know that Islam never say to kill pepole or attack anyone don't obey Islam because all pepole have freedom to choose their religen and because islam respect all religens u must respect it

look islam never preaches to violence
islam in arabic comes from salam which means peace islam only gives u the right to defend ur self if someone attacked u and discourages the idea of violence itself
the violent ppl who says they r muslims will b grounded greatly when the time comes believe me
when u r angry just washing up and praying takes th anger away
and places love and peace instead

Studied it most of my LIFE since high school and my opinion is that when you let the MEDIA alone, with no other sources, dictate your world view (on ANYTHING) you're doing yourself and others a HUGE disservice. PEOPLE cause problems... in ANY religion and do terrorist acts under the name of their religion (TIM McVEIGH ring a bell?). Study Islam from Shia, Sunni, conservative and liberal in both disciplines and then come back and we'll chat more.

islam isn't a violent religion, and i'm sorry that the other people of my country are acting like this.
if americans weren't so ignorant, maybe they would be a little more kind to other people.

the violent Muslims you see on tv are the radicals, that interpret their holy scripts as "we are better than you and you make the world impure, so we have to kill you all" (there are people like this in EVERY religion). they are tought this from an early age, but i assure you that most Muslims are all about peace and respect. i know a lot of Muslims and they are great people.
