I'm looking for a party cruise to go on for spring break. I would prefer the cruise to be only 7 nights/days long. Departure ports are flexible for me. My budget is $1000-2000 a person for the whole trip.

Carnival would be in your budget for sure, and cruises to the Mexican Riviera are for sure party cruises, the Caribbean is a party cruise from what I've heard. Pretty much anywhere warm & tropical is going to be a party. If you're going during Spring Break then I'm sure you'll have no problems meeting other people your age. You can find 7 day cruises to both of those destinations. Mexican Riviera I know leaves out of Long Beach, CA (and I'm not sure where else), and Caribbean leaves from lots of places, Florida, Texas, Puerto Rico...

One of the best times of the year to cruise, most cruises are sold out or are really crowded. Carnival for young and young at heart crowds and Royal Caribbean and Princess for all crowds. All wonderful and price range can vary just need to shop around.
