My son Rajiv had a letter or fantasy he wrote and I found it disturbing. He is 16 years old and he was talking crazy in the letter. He mentioned sitting on his couch nude and masturbating to Hilary Duff? Who is duff. His fantasy was a degrading one as she was calling him all kinds of names as he was doing this. He is such an innocent boy who just came from India. I am worried now. He was talking so bad. He kept saying that she was calling him tiny and waving her pinky at him. What the heck is that? Can someone help me? Should I send him back to India?

Like many of the others are saying, this is quite normal behavior for a boy that age. I know that isn't easy to swallow coming from India, because I spent 2 years there as a missionary and I understand the modesty of your culture. However, by coming to the United States, you're going to have to adjust to a more open and liberated society. You might want to watch the movie "Bend it Like Beckham." It's a wonderful movie about Indians meeting Western culture.

So far it sounds like typical 16 year old male behavior. He is going through puberty and having a lot going on with his hormones. Hilary Duff is a teenage popstar/tv actress from the Disney channel. Don't send him back to India for this. If you are seriously asking that question though, maybe you need to do some research on 16 year old boys or talk to a doctor about him because this stuff is normal.

Don't stress - just talk to him about it. If he doesn't talk, then ask him who he would feel comfortable talking to. My friend's son did something similar, at 12 years where he drew a sexual cartoon with swearing and killing. She spoke to him about it, as she thought maybe something had happened to him. He was fine, he hasn't done it since and he is a really good 14 y/o kid who does really well at school. Don't send him back to India just because of a drawing.
By the way, Hilary Duff is a famous actress/singer.

Don't send him back to India . Hilliary Duff is a Disney Star and she is getting more famous .Ummm you might want to find out if he is sexually active . Maybe he tried to be and he got harassed by his size or maybe he got harassed by his size at school in gym by other guys . Ummmm i would address it but in good manner . Don't start accusing or making him feel more uncomfortable then he already is . Now you got to remember have sexual fantasy's at that is is perfectly normal . Remember when you were 16 and your hormones cold only think about sex and you tried to get a peak at anything you could at that time .

It's usually the quiet ones that are loud in the sack..... He is now Americanized, mom. He probably hears kids at school talking about stuff like this and is just doing what he thinks he needs to do to fit in. Also, men (Indian, Korean, trailer park, Hispanic) ALL men, think about sex all of the time. He's not the first boy (or girl) to write out his/her sexual fantasies. It's a lot healthier than going out and f*cking in my opinion.

Sounds like a normal teenager to me. Hillary Duff is a very pretty teen pop/tv/music star. He's 16, he can't be all *that* innocent.

He just came back from India and now he feels free as he lives in a different country with multiple religions and freedom. He is 16 and he is in his puberty.It's normal to act like that...He is a young man. Just leave him to see what he is up to and if he does a mistake generally just talk to him. By sending hime back to India this will not solve anything, but it will make it worse. He needs to trust you..somenone to talk to.
