PA gives a property tax break to low-income seniors whose home values have risen, so that they won't lose their home because they can't pay the taxes.

Louisiana freezes home property taxes if the owner is over 65, plus exempts the first $75K of value.

I am not aware of any state that exempts senior citizens from property tax. Many states will have special exemptions that may offer seniors a break on their property tax by lowering the assessed value of their home in determining the amount of property tax.

If a senior don't want to pay property tax, it is pretty simple, don't own any real property.

Many states - PA is one - have programs to give a partial rebate of property taxes to low-income senior citizens.
