I beleive that these 2 things are oftern confussed. I know I lusted after many girls but only loved once or twice.

This may sound odd and back words from most peoples thought but I think love is when you can be normal. When you can truly love them and not act like a blithering retard. You can hang out, have serious conversations and go formal or casual and always maintain the same level of love (not necessarily like :) ) Love is also when you can't imagine your life with out the other person because they have truly become your other half. Lust would be drastic changes between love and anger, happy and sad, pretty much an emotional roller coaster. Lust may also bang at the door of obsession and maybe controlling on either part.

I never was in love for whole my life but i always in Lust. Love is about how much the couple fall in love, and do everything. Lust, it is just a fun thing. JUST FUN AND NO SERIOUS. For example, friend with benefit or sex buddy. I rather lust than a love because a love will hurt bad. Lust is just a fun for me. :)

lust is attraction in the physical appearance of your girlfriend... you think about kissing, necking, touching and intimacy when you see her and you are with her... it is just about the hunger...
lust is the feeling that exist only for a moment and will gone just like a bubble. no trace.
love is the feeling that you feel that you really accept her in and out. her wrong doings making it right improving her personality and always being there for her everytime she needs you. love is the feeling that no one can understand if the expalination comes from others. it must be felt in order to be understand.
love is always new and will always generate a new one everytime you feel it...
that is the difference between love and lust...

I agree with you David. I too have lusted after many girls, but you need to know someone really well to know if you genuinely love them. I think I've been in love once, in lust maybe a hundred times!!

I too think people are confused by the two. I have only ever been in love once and even now I doubt it sometimes. Lust on the other hand is a different story..........

Love is an emotional response based on physical attraction, emotional attachment, common interests, etc. etc. etc. It's longer lasting and much more meaningful.
Lust is a physical/sexual response. It's desiring a person, and is only based on physical things. It's usually temporary, but can be associated with love, if one is careful in expressing it.
Think of it this way- love is a long-lasting committed relationship. Lust is a one-night stand.

Lust is with a man or woman is wants them for sex. Love is a feeling that goes deep within a person, and they want to be with another person through everything (not just sex).
