If you lost the card you have to reapply through the social security administration. However, if you need it NOW, you should be able to get it off of your last tax return. Since she is two I am assuming that you have at least filed your taxes once and that you probobly claimed her; the number will be on the page that lists dependants.

Go to the Social Security website, and call the 1800 number for your area.
Why don't you have your daughter's social security card? I filled out the forms for my son in the hospital and it was mailed to me before he was a month old.

I'm not sure why you can't get it off of her card but if that's an issue, check with your local social security office. They have a website where you can find your local office & how to contact them.

You can't get SS numbers over the phone or internet, due to security issues.
You CAN bring her birth certificate, and proof of your identification, to your local social security office, and they'll give it to you. I"m assuming you applied for it when she was born, and that she has one. Otherwise, you'll have to get her birth certificate and apply for one.

Legal parent / guardians have that paperwork already , when they applied for it at social security.
If you lost it , you may only legally obtain it again after social security verifies you are authentic.
