sounds like your bf has a very insecure mentality i am seperated from my son, and his mother and i fight like cats and dogs but for the childs sake you need to keep that away from the childs life they love you both equally and the bf needs to understand that if he had a child elsewhere and the roles were reversed what would he do, it seems very unfair that he would act this way unless you stil have romantic feelings for the ex and the bf knows of this then you need to reassure the bf with some special cuddles and dont yell out the ex's name during sex and you should be fine
the boyfriend is very insecure and needs a shake up tell him you want a break next time he acts up see if his reaction is good or bad if its bad then he doesnt really love you and is probably just using you to lie on while he has a root
trust me there are plenty of single guys out here who dig the package deal (mum and kid or kids)

Why would he act so retarded when the guy calls? Especially since he lives out of the country. It's not like the guy is poppin up at your house every day. Does he think that the two of you want to be together or something? Why is he so insecure? U don't need that.
And if your son has a positive relationship with his father, no man needs to break that apart, instead he needs to respect it. Forget a break....A guy who has a problem with that needs to go...forever.
