Take your foot off the gas and grab the steering wheel with both hands. Once it is under control gently apply the brakes, if applying the brakes gently causes control issues then leave them alone till later when your car has slowed down by having no gas. I have had a couple times where I have gone for miles with a back tire blown. How I could tell is the back end was loose when i changed lanes. So sometimes you don't know only when you turn the steering wheel. Try to place the car away from the road as far as possible and get out of the car and get away from it. Don't get in front of your car so if you are hit it is not coming towards you. Drunks and some people have a tendency to run into cars on the side of the road.

Don't apply the brakes too hard, or you will lock up the wheel with the blown tire and possibly loose control. If possible, just let the car coast down to 15 or 20 on the shoulder, then brake to a stop. If it is a steering tire this is especially important.

The first thing is not to panic. I know it is easier said than done, but it is very important that you don't. You grasp the steering wheel with both hands, and stop the car by patting the brakes, not slamming your foot on the brakes. This way you should be able to keep control of the car and pull the car off of the road to safety.

Keep both hands on the steering wheel, take your foot off the gas, lightly pump the brakes to bring the car to a stop at the side of the road, call for help.

If its a front tyre, then you first accelerate, to straighten the wheels and keep the car from flipping. Then begin slowing.

slow down and move off to the side of the road as quickly as it is safe to do so.
Most others will see that you are in trouble and move out of the way for you. But be careful of those who don't care.
