Wash hair, towel dry then smother your hair with conditioner (just a cheap one will do) Using a nit comb,go through the hair thoroughly, rinsing comb after each stroke. Repeat for about a week to get rid of all the little blighters. Know it sounds a pain but this way is good if you don't want to use chemicals (especially so on kids).

I have a little boy of seven when he attended 1st school I had a nitemare nearly every week with head lice and eggs.
I found instead of using a harsh lotion I always used a normal conditioner and a lice comb guaranteed to work with a bit of patients they'll be gone b4 you know it.

sounds silly but if u r in the uk if u take one of the lice, put it on a piece of sellotape and seal and take it to boots the chemist or any other major chemist and they will give u lotion free of charge, to discourage the lice brush thru a little tea tree conditioner and leave in hair to dry once clear of lice, they cannot bond onto hair when u do this, unpleasant but easy to treat

Buy liquid ( no spray, powder they are useless)treatment from pharmacy for "head lice", no name in particular ... eggs will not go ... but you can try comb it out with those special "head Lice comb" also some old trick.... warm vinegar applied on the head , or simply Vaseline.. left over night will also work

My daughter had a terrible time with LICE. RID is one of the best. Comes with the comb, too, but you wil get rid of the nits better by hand.
