I'd say garlic bread and salad - that's what I usually serve.

Green salad/ Italian dressing.
Slice French bread all the way through. Butter one side each slice and sprinkle with garlic salt or garlic powder (I like the salt). Put back in loaf shape and wrap in foil and place on cookie sheet. Now when ya take the lasagna out it has to sit 10 minutes to set so, now put the bread in the same heat as lasagna and cook about 10 minutes and everything is ready at once.
I'm part of a fund raiser spaghetti supper tonight and gonna make the bread and salad for it. This is how I do it.

With Lasagna, how about a second course of Meat-loaf and salad.
With the same Ground Meat that you have made your meat Sauce make a little meatloaf or meatballs and had some of the sauce on top halfway through baking.. If your meat is a mixture of veal, beef, and lamb it will be a Delicious lasagna and meatloaf..
Bake the meatloaf or meatballs in the oven a little before you had your lasagna, add your lasagna near the last half of baking and take them out at the same time..
Serve with Salad..Salad with a home-made Italian Dressing .. Some Italian Wine and you a great 3 course meal.

Garlic bread. Take an unsliced loaf of bread, spread butter on top, followed by a garlic seasoning blend. Toast in an oven. Even a toaster oven. Don't use a toaster though. French bread works great. In a pinch, sliced bread works.
Lasagna needs nothing else...it is an all in one meal. Vegetables are served in the sauce, cheese and meat for the proteins, pasta noodles for the carbs, and grease from all this for the arterial deterioation.
Some people like to serve wine. If you do so, wine snobs reccomend red wine. I reccomend whatever wine you like best.
Oh, and one more thing. A sprig of parsley for garnish (and in case you feel the need for a second vegetable).

Lasagna is my favorite food of all time and I really love garlic bread or breadsticks with it. Also, a lettuce salad with Italian dressing is good too. I would definitly go with the salad and bread of some kind.

I agree, salad and garlic bread!
Especially this salad:
Slice 4 - 5 tomatoes and a red onion. Cover the vegetables in a dressing made of 3 parts olive oil, 1 part balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Lots of fresh basil leaves on top!

Just a simple salad either a Cesar or Classic American (buy bagged) and toasted garlic bread. If you drink a nice Chianti or if you don't a dark grape juice would be a lovely compliment. For dessert a sorbet. Hope this helped.

If you have any left over meatballs n sausage from preparing the lasagna you could have that as a side dish with the bread and salad.
