The kitten has gas from something it's eating, it could be from treats, it could just be from a change in food. I wouldn't give it anything for this, it's system is already in delicate condition. Just deal with the gas, stop feeding it treats, let it get used to it's new food and the gas will go away.
Years ago I had five dogs. They got a really high quality kibble with a can of dog food divided between them over the kibble for flavor. Their very favorite was Pedigree liver cheese & bacon (or something like that - I know it was like giving them french fries but they didn't get much of it) this canned food really smelled like bacon when you opened it...and it gave them all the most terrible gas...ever tried sleeping in a room with five 'windy' dogs? Open the windows, put your head under the covers, and remember to feed them that stuff in the morning next time!!!

More than likely the kittens gas has something to do with the food it's eating.
Try to stay away from fish flavored foods...stick with chicken flavored, that should help reduce the gas.
Since you typed LOL...I'm assuming you're kidding about giving the kitten Gas-X...but in case you're not...NEVER give an animal medication that is made for humans.
It could be toxic to the cat.

Gas in a kitten is usually related to diet ....is your daughter sneaking the little bugger people food? No people food and have the kitten wormed to eliminate that possible cause of intestinal distress. If you are giving milk to the kitten buy the stuff at the store specifically labeled for that purpose.Cow milk can cause issues.

Hi Thumpingr, to a point this is normal for kittens. They will do this and if you just try to avoid them you won't have to deal with it. They will get better. However, diet issues may be a big concern. Your kitten should be getting softened/or hard food that has a first ingredient of poultry or some other meat, no by products. This is another link that talks about a healthy diet: http://users.bigpond.net.au/Kittens/diet.htm It should get better!

have you ever given him cow's milk ? that has a bent to try this. do no longer provide him cow's milk as a results of fact cats have a bent to be lactose illiberal and gasoline is purely the start. purchase some kitten milk. different than for which you have purely had the kitten for sooner or later and that i'm guessing that regardless of you have fed it is distinct to what it relatively is been used to so provide it time to settle.

Well, I'll give the same answer I just gave in the dog section about a new puppy: animals have to pass gas for the same reason people do, but like people, animals can get gas from what they eat. The puppy's owner was feeding tuna to the puppy. You might be able to reduce kitty's flatulence by changing his or her diet.

Cats and dogs and all animals get flatulence now and again. Instead of trying to "medicate" it (bad idea), change his diet.
