the latter months can change and be fairly cold .

Montreal is the fashion centre and very interesting however many people there speak french though some speak English
Victoria an Island off Vancouver is just as beautiful with very scenic areas. its a beautiful place.
So which area are you interested in
the Maritimes on the East Coast are beautiful and scenic too.

It really is hard to make a decision I know that In my lifetime

I live in Edmonton Alberta. If you were to visit Calgary you are only an hour away from the Rockies and Banff national park .If you like scenic areas then this is where you want to be .From the town of Banff you can drive up to Jasper National park Stop and see the Columbia glacier (take a bus trip right on top of it) Then onto the town of Jasper where you have more mountain views . Edmonton is a 4 hour drive from there -where we have the worlds largest shopping mall ,and the prices are pretty fair.Go to www.travelalberta.com for more info. P.S Vancouver is not a province, it's a city and Toronto is not a country it's a city as well.

Bud there isn't enuf space to say all the great things about Canada. It is such a vast place with so many different climates and cultures. I love the coasts. I grew up in Nova Scotia and now I am in British Columbia and I've driven every mile in between. Start in Halifax and work your way west on the Trans Canada. As many Americans learned from South Park, there is only one road in Canada...just make sure you go the right way!
Expense also differs from place to place but generally it is affordable and the exchange rate with the pound will be to your benefit.
C'mon over and see for yourself.

It depends on where you go in Canada and what you want to do. We are much like the rest of the world. You find nice people and mean people where ever you go. We are very friendly and will help you if we can. I am from Newfoundland but live in Ontario. Both places have beautiful country sides. I prefer Newfoundland over Ontario but shortage of jobs keeps me here. Vacation wise i love going to NL, the people are extremely friendly and no matter where you go they say hello to you and help you in whatever way they can. I have never been in Western Canada btu I am told Alberts adn Manitoba are awesoem places to visit. Look out Calgary I will be there in 2 yrs!

Canada is awesome!
It's not too expensive. I've only been to Toronto and the outlying towns and lakes. I love going up to the cottage!
But I have looked at Montreal and Vancouver and they both look like a lot of fun. My cousins that live in Canada go to Vancouver every summer to snowboard and enjoy the local delicacies!
I suggest spending some time in the city and then maybe renting out a cottage if you go in the summer.....water ski, bonfires, whoo hoo!

it is a large happy country with cities scattered throughout. we have lakes, mountains, rivers, beaches, snow and alot of cultural diversity.
it depends on where you wanna go to save money. it can be expensive if you go to fancy places, but it's not too expebsive.
i live in the Gulf islands, and we get alot of tourists on Saltspring island. nearby is Victoria, and Vancouver, a ferry ride away. there are other major cities worth looking at, like edmonton, toronto and montreal, and the east coast as well. there is some snow in the rest of canada, but we get very little in the area i live, because it is pretty mild in the winter. let me know if you need more info.

It's like a country, you know? Next week we're getting running water. Have to wait a while for the indoor toilets but the electricity is being discussed as we speak.
Geeze.

It's like the US except without as much crime and poverty. I have only travelled in the western half and it's beautiful.
