STOP!
before going any further seek some advice from the patent office about protecting your idea - see http://www.patent.gov.uk/ the last thing you want is them saying no thanks then launching the idea themselves a few months later.

*) first step: Write a business plan!
(brief general description of project, persons involved and theit competences, SWOT-Analysis, financial plan ->costs, ... (wikipedia.de: Geschäftsplan oder businessplan))
*) Then write a better one! ;-)
*) Send yourself the business plan via e-mail!!!!!!
*) Then contact the people at the phone companies. (That's what you were asking for, wasn't it?!)
Best way would be to start at the companies's homepage. There should be some corporate site. Take the phone and a week and try each and every number. Sweat equals money! You may also try the employment section of those companies. (tmobile.de -> Unternehmen -> Jobs&Karriere) Talk to the people! As you say, red'n bringt die Leut' z'amm!
But the most important part is the business plan. It helps you to structure your idea, find the weaknesses and shows the people you want to impress that you know what you are talking about. The worst thing to happen is to have raised a question in a meeting you have not thought of before. A good idea is to rehearse your idea with friends and family. Encourage them to be mean to you and take your idea appart. Better they do it than your perspective business partner.
So far for now, good night and good luck!

I provide advertising services for Orange, and I first contacted my local Orange shop to get the contact details directly, especially the correct contact name. They were very helpfull
by giving me all the details I needed.
Once you have the contact details, give them a ring and simply ask the question - In what form do I submit a proposal to you?
they will tell you their procedures.
I must tell you that this may well be very "long winded" for you, they take there time over everything and could well be a very long time till you get a response. BUT, keep going, keep going, keep going. Dont hound them as such, but definately keep in toch on a regular basis.

Patent the idea - this will let you find out how unique you are as well as protect you.

Set up a small business and test the product

It it is really good they mobile phone companies will find you.

If they don't then contact them with a view to them buying you out.

First, if it is a great once-in-a-lifetime idea: get it patented or copyrighted. You dont want the telephone providers to take a hike with your fab idea after you have met, right?

Than you call the marketing depatments of the various provider and ask them for an appointment.

You would need to create a business proposal. Then the best thing to do is to write to the head office of Orange and briefly describe your idea (don't give too much away otherwise they will take it and not give you the credit)

Be prepared you might be ignored.

just go on a search engine and type it in, im sure there will be several results where you can go to, or at least at any one of those networks' websites...but make sure its official and patent it before anything because youll basically be giving them an idea and theyll play you like an instrument and you wont see a penny out of it, be careful and good luck...sorry i could help with contacting anyone

Patent any idea first. This way you'll find out if it's already been thought of. You don't have to have a prototype to protect an idea.
