would you really proceed to let this man work in your mouth with instruments
did he offer you an explaination or apologise
did you ask him what was going on or if he was ill
i would not have walked but ran right out of his office and then reported him to the state licensing department for unprofessional behavior and refuse to pay him for his services
sounds like he was drunk on drugs or has a real anger management problem like a mental disorder
you can also check if there have been any similar complaints by other patients

I'm sure you were scared. I would have gotten up and walked out. Then I would have filed a report. Dentists are just people and you're not glued down to the chair.
He acted violently when he threw the instrument. It could have hurt you. You don't have to put up w/ it. Call another dentist and make an appointment to have the crown put on by them. Pick the final crown up at the mean dentist's office and tell them to take you off the patient list.
Good luck to you!

This is no time to close your mouth since he most likely had some tools in it. You dentist seems to have some emotional issues. I would finish up with the crown with him and then move on to a more stable dentist. Interestingly dentists have a very high suicide rate.
Get your crown finished and leave quickly

Find a new dentist immediately. This is not only unprofessional, but he could have easily lost his job for putting a patient in danger. It's a bad idea to put your dental health in the care of someone with anger problems.

glad you didn't get hurt
it's a known fact that dentists have one of the highest suicide rates (due to stress on the job) - - find yourself another dr and maybe file a complaint -
you don't want that to happen to anyone else

let him finish...then find a dentist with a cooler head...do you really want an angry man with a drill all in your mouth? No matter how he explained something like that, I would never go back

i would not continue to visit him any more. if he is that angry all the time theres not a chance hes focused on what hes doing and could screw your mouth up, i wouldnt trust an angry man using drill tools on me or anyone else, it sounds dangerous
