Try a gradual food change to a diet less in sugars! Read your bags, most commercial food (which I do not use anymore) have all kinds of stuff in them that is not needed nor good for your puppy. I know it takes time, but more and more breeders/trainers etc. are making their own food due to research being done on JUST WHAT IS IN that dog food!!! Check out a book Called "Food Pets Die For" by Ann N. Martin it will knock you over what really is in that food. AND if you must feed commercial diets, stay FAR away from any type of canned food.
All dogs will pass a little gas, but it should not be to the extent you are having.

Too funny ;) You fart, dogs fart... that's life.
You can help, though, by regulating his diet. The tuna is a bad idea, and if he's only 9 weeks he's probably still adjusting from milk and soft food. (You're not giving him milk, are you?)
I like to vary my 3 year old's diet with dry food some days, wet occasionally, etc., but keeping an eye on the fat content. Adjusting it too quickly will lead to diarrhea. In your case, given that this dog is so young, move to a good dry food (no corn) and wet it down a bit with water.
It won't cut out the gas, but it sure will keep it manageable.

Get yourself a Rottie, you will appreciate the delicate fluff of a fart from a frenchie as opposed to the Rottie Trumpet voluntary accompanied by toxic fumes.
Seriously tho, keep the diet the same. These dog food companies spend millions on dried complete food for pups and other dogs, then people go and ruin it all by adding meat. Dried food and water is all they need and when they are older, a treat of meat or something tasty, when their stomachs can cope.

When my dog was on wet food his trumps were extreamly disgusting. Swapped to dry food and it's loads better. Still get the occasional one but no where as bad as before. I would look at his diet and i would change to dry food. Which one is up to you but look at the ingreidents and avoid ones with added sugar, colours etc... i reccommend Autarky which is gluten wheat free and is available for puppys, adults and seniors. Also if you do change his food do it on a gradual basis swapping equal amounts starting off small untill he is completely on the new food. If you dont he could end up with diaoreah as the change might be too much all in one go.

When my dog was a puppy, some dry types of kibble gave him gas. I finally kept him on puppy purina and I had to ween him on it. It's bad to just stop a dog food all together - try to ween him off and on. Feed him very little human food and no canned wet food.
Good luck!

Possibly a bit of a wet diet, a bit more of the dry to soak up the liquid and find just one food that suits. That's an awful lot of mixed food and dogs like to crunch. I know 9 weeks is young, but you can add water. The fish may be a problem it can cause the runs.

change the dogs meat to Butchers puppy food and keep to the same dried food mixture and do it gradually do not do it in one go because you will make the puppy very ill and unwell. You will not stop the dog from farting because puppies always fart and you will not stop it it is a natural dog thing

I would suggest changing the food. Try taking the tuna out to start. if your puppy likes a wet meal add water to the dry feed. if it's the feed, try another variety. What else does it get in way of tit-bits - think about changing them too! I find my dog gets windy on tinned dog food and gravy bone type treats.

my staffy has always had stinky wind, but since feeding her dry dog food its still stinky but alot less often, another thing that seems to work are charcoal biscuits which you can get from most pet shops (the black ones in the shaped dog biscuits), we always fed these to our dog for a few days before a long car journey. Really its trying to find the right food for your dog trial and error, remembering if you try another food give it at least a week or two before deciding.

Change his diet. It is highly recommended not to feed human food (tuna) or wet canned food. Get him onto a good wuality dry kibble, I recommend Innova Evo. It is an all life stages kibble of all meat, veggies, no grains to stir up allergies or to become extra waste.
