Ok, I am trying to help my girlfriend quit smoking marijuana, so I have done all kinds of research for her on side effects of withdrawl, many of which she is having. But last night she called me bawling, her period is two weeks early, now with everything I have read, I founf that while smoking that crap, it can affect it, the question is can quitting cause it to come early? Or maybe just the stress is??

Does it matter if I am a lesbian? I didnt realize that it mattered, but no I am not. Many women refer to their "girl" friends as girlfriends.

Note to self....Do not become friends with EVE, I think its absolutely terrible that you would give up on your friend in her time of need.......

It's very nice of you to have concerns for your friend. She's fortunate to have someone who cares. Go to the site listed below and it will give you some of the problems during and after the use of marijuana.

Good luck to both of you!

withdrawl can have serious side effects. Her being that emotional is probably the withdrawl. the period could be too. Withdrawl can be so severe with some drugs it can literally KILL you. I suggest you just keep weathering it out with her. I think time will be the best indicator.

I don't think pot will affect her period. Chances are stress and hormones play a bigger role.

I think it's great of you to try and get her off that. It's really bad for you and I don't care what other people say, pot makes you slow and stupid.

Teachers can tell very easily who is stoned and on drugs...you may think they can't but they can. The problem is there is not much they can do about it except keep an eye out for problems.

You can bet if there is a reason for police to become involved at school over drug issues that teachers will tell them who they suspect uses drugs too, so don't think you are "safe" and immune and fooling anyone when you do drugs.

Smoking one joint is like smoking 20 cigarettes when it comes to the tar that is deposited into your lungs.

My husband had a friend who smoked it all his life and now he has emphysema and says to us all the time now "I was so stupid to ever smoke that stuff...if I had known I would end up like this...it's terrible...I can't walk across the room. I can't go anywhere anymore."

He is on Prednisone, his face is like a balloon, and if he deteriorates any more he will need double lung transplant.

This is a slow, long and hideous way to die...and dying he is. My FIL died of emphysema too and in the end was a ghost of the man he used to be.

Too bad kids don't have the capacity to see what their lives will turn out to be in 30 years from now...because if they could, I guarantee you they would never start that crap.

It's a cheap thrill, doesn't really do anything for you except make you brain dead, unable to react if your life depended on it, and makes you paranoid.

I think what attracts people to it is that only through drugs can they actually take a look at themselves inside...because that's what pot does is trap you inside your brain...but at price.

Hope you can change her mind, but I found you really can't make people do what they want.

I think it's time you find a better friend if she doesn't listen to you....in time you will get fed up with trying anyhow, and you don't want to surround yourself with people who are messed up and going nowhere.

Having sex jointly as your on your era wont do some thing on your cycle All its going to do it get the guy somewhat bloody, yet i'd assume your going to be utilising take care of practices, so theres now no longer some thing to rigidity about!

How old is your friend? If she's still a teenager, maybe her cycle just isn't too stable yet. If not, she should see a doctor.
