I'm applying to some school ,many schools require the transcript and related diploma ,but I don't understand the 'transcript' clearly ,and I only have one each ,if I mail them to one school ,how about other schools ??? that school will then mail it back to me ?? after that I send them to other schools ? I think it impossible ,so I guess it should be the copies of them ?!?(the transcript refers to some archive&archive copy ,right?) however ,my education archive and diploma have been sealed by my prior school ? how should I copy them ? what should I do ? I really don't know the related procedure ,please help me !!!
Thank you very much !

Transcripts in this case , are a record of your classes and grades.
Due to people faking them, most schools now require a certified copy from the other schools offices.
You must contact your old school and request they send transcripts of your classes & grades . . . give them a list of the schools to send to . . . they may have like a $5 fee per document to cover processing.

A transcript is a synopsis of your experiences at a learning institution. It includes your coursework, grades, credits, and whether you completed the requirements for graduation. Your school should release transcripts to you, and to colleges or universities, with your written consent. Your high school will release an official copy of your transcripts directly to the university, if you request it. There may be a fee for this service, but it can be done.

A transcript is a short hand written copy. No they do not send them back to you. You should make copies of them.Yes, they could refer to archives. You should have your archive and ddiploma. The school is not suppose to seal them. They are to be given to you at graduation. Go to you school and tell them you want them. And maybe you can make copies for each college you are appling to. If they don't let you copy at school, take them to your public library. I hope I answered this for you. If not. Ask at the school you are getting the diploma from to explain it to youl Good luck.

you are suppose to have enough transcripts for all of the schools that you are applying to. the schools will not return the transcripts, and if they are colleges, you schould know that they need "official transcripts" which mean that they are sealed individually in envelopes, that you CANNOT open. you have to contact your school that you got your transcript from and ask them for more copies, always get more than you need. but NO you CANNOT copy them yourself, the school has to issue you sealed transcripts that you will then send to the schools you are applying to, making sure that you do not open the envelopes. good luck.

They will not accept a copy directly from you anyway unless they are damned fools. Too easy to fake. You need to go to, or mail a request to your former institution to send the transcript. They make a copy, certify it, and send it sealed to the requesting institution. You pay a fee for the service of course.
