Skin color, ethnic background, gender, and stuff like that shouldn't matter if you really love a person. Other people's opinions shouldn't matter either. If someone doesn't like seeing two people of a different race together, thats their problem. As I always say, 'Don't like it? Don't look!' I also don't think age matters either, although sometimes it depends on the age difference and the maturity of the people involved.
Bottom line, you know him best and if you think he's right for you then by all means be with him and don't be bothered by people's opnions.

Jenny,
if you enjoy his company, and he treats you the way you want, then really.....what difference does it make what color he is? Or what color you are for that matter? My parents are in an interracial relationship and have been for more than 40 years!! And they are insanely in love with each other, and I am a product of that amazing love.
A person's skin color is no more significant than the color of their eyes. Sure, there will be some society ramifications maybe, but so what.....anything worth having is worth working for. And you both seem to just be dating. Go for it, and at the end of the day we are ALL a part of the HUMAN RACE.
Good Luck!

As far as dating interracialy, I think it's cool. Whatever floats your boat. It's nobody's business other than you and that other persons. I wish people would stop hating and lose the 1800s mind set of how they see it being wrong just because THEY don't feel it. Me personally, I am attracted mainly to black girls. White girls really don't do it for me. I have also been attracted to latinas too. I mean it sounds all good to me even with the age difference. Some(well, most) dudes don't mature as fast as their age would say. A lot of dudes could be 28 and have the maturity of a 20 yr old girl. Its all good. Do what you do girl.

I don't personally think there is a difference between two white people being together and black and white, black and asian, white and whatever. But..take it from someone who knows I am white and was with a black man for 3 years...people will look and make rude comments but if you love each other who cares? Love is a beautiful thing, no matter what color!

Race does not matter it is what is on the inside that counts. And allot of people are saying he is to old for you but my friends parents are like 11 or 12 years apart and they have been together for a long time. If your in love and know it is right than that stuff does not matter.

I see nothing wrong with interracial dating, but that age range I have to admit is a little too much....at least for me anyway.

I could care less about interracial dating. If you love each other then don't worry about what other people think!

I don't see a problem with it . Love is love . I dated out of my race a few times.Don't pay attention to the people telling you the age makes a difference either.Follow your heart and not other peoples advice.
