Tony Stewart.
When he first came to NASCAR I thought he was too cocky and a jerk. Then I realized that he just lives and breathes racing and is a great race car driver, one of the best ever. Then I met him and he is actually a really nice, down to earth guy. Now he is my favorite driver.

I have two drivers in that category. Tony Stewart and Kevin Harvick. They both have been known as "Bad A** Boys", but now I have done a 180 on both of them. Maybe it's because they have "matured" with age, I'm not exactly sure, but I have a lot of respect for both of them now. I would have loved to see either one of them the 2006 Champion !!!
Another interesting thing for me is that we aren't seeing that sort of attitude in the "New Rookies", as they come in to NASCAR now a days ??? Personally, I see gratitude for the opportunity to race in NASCAR and a certain amount of humbleness, along with a willingness to learn from the veterans, which is refreshing in my humble opinion !!!

It is not me doing the 180, Kurt Busch needs a break or two and a rebound in 2007 for him to do a 180. Keep the fenders on !

DARRELL WALTRIP, never liked him. When he was racing in the 1970's and1980's, he was a very loud and annnoying, gained the nickname 'Jaws'. Then in the 1990's to current, has been playing 'up' to the camera, and now made me feel bad about 'maybe' being too hard on him? But fans have recently told me he's a total 'jerk' when approached at the tracks. So, make mine a 360?

Casey Mears. I used to like him because he is from Bakersfield. Then I found out he is Jimmie Johnsons butt buddy and he is moving to Hendricks Motorsports. He has now been taken off my top drivers list which now consists of Kevin Harvick, Clint Boyer, Jeff Burton, Brandon Ash, and Dale Jr.

I was a Gordon fan when he run Busch and was following him to cup.He had a contract with Ford at the time but a certain owner sued Ford for Gordons contract. The contract was broken and Ford was shafted. So now wonderboy can blow his motor, crash or have a crappyrun and itdoes not bother me.

I really liked Michael Waltrip even though he drove a chevy, but I hate seeing him in a Toyota :(
I didn't care much for Dale Jarrett, but will be a fan of Ricky Rudd's and hope he does well
I was a fan of Rusty's until he switched to Dodge, I guess that's a mute point now.
Will see about Mark Martin

I was a big Tony Stewart fan his first couple of years, now I think he is just a big jerk on the track. Dale Sr, I didn't like him as a driver because he just, well, an aggressive driver, but anyway, after his death I learned alot more about the man, and I think he was the best...all the way around.
MATT KENSETH ROCKS!

I used to hate jeff gordon, but after missing the chase he has seemed to become a bit more mellow... dare i say he even whined less in 06 than ever before. On the other side, I used to like kurt busch but after his ear pinning last year and "personality overhaul" so much for that
