People have a tendency to want things that are out of reach, because they do not want anything to be out of reach.

Once something is in reach, there is no need to want it.

Look at Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. You can see that as things are within reach, people reach for the next thing. You can see his chart in the link in my source list.

What you don't have seems better...if you look at other people's lives they seem so much cooler and better but if you look closely or ask..you'll see they have problems too. It's human nature to want want you can't have. Also, what you can have you don't want because that's just boring.

i reallt dont know butthat is so true! i think that they like what they cant have bacasue they wanna see if they can get the one they want away from the one that has it and they dont want what they can becasue some people jsut dont liek the fact that if its just there they go for it. people like the chase of trying toget something not sumthing thats already ther

These people are called "rejection junkies" once they get what they want they forget about it like an old toy... and move on to their next conquest!!

Its called the thrill of the chase, it's all about wondering whether you can have someone or not, and do they like you or dont they? but when you get them you've succeeded and there is no thrill anymore.

cause some times people think the grass is greener on the other side and really its not and it will come back on bite them in the *** sooner or later ..its sad
