I'm 37 and I refuse to text! Why waste 5 minutes typing with your thumbs trying to say something in broken english that you can say in 15 seconds on the phone.
I have told my female friends not to test me at all. I think it's stupid. It's like going into a bar and reading the closed captions when the volume on the TV's work just fine.
What you need to understand is that if he doesn't like texting, which he has made clear, and he doesn't respond to your texts, which he has also made clear, you should stop trying to text him.
Step out of the techno world and TALK to him. And not necessarily on the phone. Communicate with him. Texting is not communicating. It's thumb exercise. It's also stupid. If you can't say it in a letter or a card, why let him read it on a phone?
There is nothing special about Verizon or Sprint. Anyone can send a text. But to write something in a hand-written letter or a Hallmark card and actually take the time to mail it and anticipate his response?! Lord Have Mercy! That is a turn on! A text message lines up with wet toilet paper when it comes to turn ons.
Texting is for kids. Your man obviously wants a woman. Which will you choose to be? Your man has already chosen what he wants. Let's hope he doesn't make some additional choices.

no,
My wife loves texting and I hate it. I erase most texts and refuse to sit on a phone and type answers when you can call if you have a question. The chances are it is anoying to him. try asking him whats up?

texting is a waste of time. grow up. And no, I would not reply to texts that do not warrant it. Text only if needed. He'll appreciate it.

I think he is ignoring you. But you shouldn't expect something great out of a long distance relationship... Your better off with someone that you can see every day and spend time with him.
You should think about that.
