it all depends on what region of the country you are in. There are places that sell 12 oz cans in 6 packs. Every availible combination of packagaing is availible to a beer distributor. However a distributor will only inventory the package sizes and package configurations that will sell in your given market. From sales and marketing data consumers of 16oz cans prefer 6 packs and consumers of 12oz cans prefer 12 packs.
