I had a boyfriend once who snooped through my things...my wallet, my check book, my journal.
Turned out he was incredibly insecure and petrified I was going to leave him or cheat on him (neither of which I even considered) and was always looking for validation or evidence of his fears.
Eventually I dumped him because his trust issues were incredibly annoying.
So yes, men can be just as nosey as women.
One word of advice, don't do it. Being sneaky and playing detective will only cause problems. If you have any concerns, talk them out.

I don't. I think it is a bit rude, to be honest.
I think women do it not just because they are "instinctively nosey",
but they also probably just want to make sure you are not a serial killer or something. I mean imagine if they found some severed fingers in your sock draw? That'd teach 'em.

As far as I know, men dont look through thier girlfreinds things unless they have reason to. Its all about trust and care; and the fact that men are embarrassed to find a tampon or pad laying around.
I think its odd to look through my boyfriends things only because I dont want to find something from his past that would make me feel wierd around him, and i dont want him to later find out and get mad at me.
Its all about trust.

A LOT COMES DOWN TO INSECURITY. IF I WAS TEMPTED TO SNOOP IT WOULD BE BECAUSE THERE WAS SOMETHING IN THE RELATIONSHIP THAT MADE ME FEEL I COULD NOT TRUST. I WOULD NEVER EVEN GO INTO MY GIRLFRIENDS HAND BAG EVEN THOUGH SHE ASKED ME TO. THE ONLY PROBLEMS I ENCOUNTERED IS WHEN HER PHONE WOULD GO AND SHE NEVER INFORMED ME WHO IT WAS OR WHAT IT WAS ABOUT, SHE HAD SECRETS FROM ME AND THAT IS WHEN I CHECKED HER PHONE, FOUND THINGS I DID NOT LIKE BUT ALSO FOUND JUSTIFICATION FOR MY DOUBTS. WE ARE NOT TOGETHER NOW BUT, IN TRUTH I AM GLAD I DID IT. IF YOU ARE IN AN HONEST AND TRUSTING RELATIONSHIP THE ANSWER IS NO, WHEN YOU HAVE REASON TO DOUBT THE ANSWER IS YES.

Men dont and women do it because they want to find something wrong with the guy they are with so they have a reason to be a ***** about ****. A lot of women are always looking for some way to try and make it harder on the guy and what better way then to go and search in places they dont belong.

I do not snoop. Trust is required in all relationships. Without it, you have nothing.
