You are free to follow any religion you choose. But to be a true-Jewish person your mother has to be born of jewish parentage. I'm sure that if you wanted to live your life as a Jew, you would be accepted by most Jewish people.

No!
it helps though.
I went to israel and began learning hebrew and was interveiwed by a rabbi, and he told me i would have to circumcised, i told him i had already been circumsized and he said that all i needed to do was get a "pin" pricked into my flesh and it would satisfy the need to be converted.
But another rabbi came and questioned me, and concluded that i was a "missionary" or something, and I was rejected from becoming jewish. but it was true, i was always taught that Jesus is the messiah, and i believed it so i realize I could never be truly converted to judaism.

No, you may follow it's customs and traditions without converting even. However, if you are serious about PRACTICING the faith, you will need to contact a Rabbi and start taking classes. I have a friend who did so a couple of years back. YBIC

No. They do accept, but generally do not actively solicit converts. But you would have to be circumcized as an initiation into the Covenant.
