Even most technologically challenged Sheriff's Departments have websites with this info. now. It appears that law enforcement is finally realizing that we can have a bunch of extra eyes and ears out there with the net.
The other factor that keeps us getting warrant arrests is good old fashioned spite, people turning in their enemies, or people who did them wrong.
There is no honor among thieves.

Most Counties have a most wanted list on the Internet. Otherwise you can go to Sheriff's Office they have a bulletin board with want posters on it telling you who is wanted in your area

That is silly, and it may not be public record, unless you are looking for molesters and then it still may not be public record. Check with the court house, and ask a clerk they should be able to tell you how to go about this.
