Wouldn't their faith have rendered the snakes harmless?

Has any one seen the Pentecostal sect in West Virgina who handle rattle snakes, copper heads, and cotton mouths in church to prove their faith. This guy was dancing and singing with two handfuls of snakes and did not get bit. Also they were taking small sips of strychnine, one of the most poisonous substances on earth and it didn't harm them. I am impressed with their faith, I don't think I could do that. Too afraid of snakes.

Actually, if they had just remained calm, the snakes wouldn't have sensed their fear and wouldn't have bitten any of them, Evangelicals or not.

No, you hear about some idiot dying of snakebite every once in a while trying to handle snakes in some church in KY.
