No need to decide now. Meet and play together if possible. Why not just as friends. Take some time to know his current situation. Why rush~
Also meet other people. As friends. Won't hurt.
You need to change attitude :)

What you're going through is a form of grieving. Your mind gets accustomed to the hormone bath you get when you're around someone you like. You have to get over the addiction to those hormones, that stimulus. The longer you go without seeing him or thinking about him, the easier it will get. You're likely to get back into the addiction every time you see him for a while, but as you start to fill your life with other people and he does also, you will continue to love him probably, but it won't derail you. It will just be a fond memory.

Everyone can learn to let go it just takes time. As far as wanting to know if he has moved on you just have to ask him and find out. You say you are afraid it would hurt you if he had...well how long will you spend wondering if he had if you dont? Life is all about taking chances making choices and moving on

you think that knowing will hurt you more and it may at the time, but it will also give you the chance to move on. maybe he has no clue that you still feel for him like that especially when you didnt see each other for so long. give it a quick chance and let him in on how you feel. if it doesnt happen you will be hurt. i know. but good will come of it! hope it works out for the best.

It's ok to let go I mean the same thing happened to me you obsess and think about them 24/7 and in time you will find someone else and I know it's hard and I cried but I got over it and went on to new people.

I guess I would have to ask why you broke up. But to answer your question, yes you can get over him. It will take a while because you were obviously crazy about him. Get involved with other people and carry on with your life. In time, you will get over him.

my opinion is ... you need to be honest and tell him exactly what you said on here.... and then if he happens to feel the same way, then great!!! ( there is something there, or else he wouldn't have met you) if he has completely moved on, then you need to try to just block him out of your head ( i know alot easier said than done) but if its not there for him, then you are just wasting your time worrying about it. i dont think its healthy. because you need to know, whether you want to or not. you NEED to. :)

Sure... I guess people pine over the one they lost all the time. I realize that it may seem hard to ask him... but talk to him... that way your heart can let go... and maybe you will still have your love back... who knows.
Good luck with Love!
