Although I do not know Ellen Degeneres other than having seen her television show I count her along with all human beings as being a "neighbor". As a disciple of Christ this means I am not to judge her, but to love her as Christ loves her. When I have seen her show, she has been very entertaining and humorous. I do know that she is a lesbian. The Bible teaches that the practice of homosexuality is sinful but Jesus said of this that he did not come for those who are well but for those who are sinful and that should be the way I view my neighbor while trying to lead them to Christ.

Love the person...hate the sin. I feel the same way about her as the friend who I find is fornicating behind their spouses back. All people in some form or fashion has their hang-ups. If I were to speak to her, I would tell her that I think she has a wonderful talent for making people laugh, that God had blessed her with a wonderful gift and she should count her blessings that her life has been very fullfilling. I would also tell her, as a Christian...I love you though I don't condone being a lesbian, but I also realize that that is her will and one she needs to keep between her and God. I can only encourage her from their to find God's desires for her in that area.

i do not hate her, and that i do not care even if she's lesbian. yet I also do not imagine she's very humorous, and he or she is supposedly a comedienne. If it got here right down to a decision between listening to her or Rosie O'Donnell, although, i might want to ought to flow with Ellen.

i think she's so hysterical. In that movie Mr. Wrong with Bill Pullman I laughed until I almost peed my pants. Am I not allowed to like Ellen because she's gay? I'm a Christian and I think she's cool.

There is no one perfect not one; and she has the same opportunity for forgiveness as everyone else. When a person humbles oneself to obedience to God's laws and exercises that faith in his son Jesus Christ it shows repentance and love. If a persons lifestyle does not agree with what the bible teaches us about God's standards then we need to look further and study in order to have the opportunity for everlasting life. There are many of his followers that would be happy to share this information in the form of a personal bible study to learn more. It is my wish that she finds this truth and opens up herself to it when she hears a knock on her door or has the opportunity to learn at any local Kingdom Hall.

She's a nice funny lady, and has a soul to be saved, just like everybody else. Christians don't hate people. That's our mission is to love the "HELL" out of people. That's what Jesus did. He took people and totally transfrom them, look at his disciples. That let's you know once you have had an encounter with Christ, A TRUE ENCOUNTER, you'll never be the same.

I love her. Always have. I understand she has also been very involved in world betterment projects. Thanks Ellen.
. . but you're referring to her being Gay? Without referring to the verses, I can say I am not here to judge her. Being Gay isn't what keeps a person from Eternal life. Not having a relationship with Jesus does.
So I ask you . . does she have a personal realtionship with Jesus?

I never thought she was funny BEFORE she came out and still don't find her funny at all. I think she has used her lesbianism to further a career that would've sunk by now if she "wasn't brave enough" to come out. But I have no animosity toward because of her sexual orientation.

I may not agree with one of her life choices (but that's true about a lot of people).
But all in all, I think she's a very talented comedian, and I loved they way she played Doreen on "Finding Nemo" - so funny.

She's a fun and funny lady. I like her, but we hate the sin not the sinner (I'm referring to homosexuality).
