A girl (25 yrs. old) and a guy (25 yrs. old) met from jdate.com. They had two very good dates. She calls him back to his response for a third date. They talk, set things up and she mentions how she really would like to see him again but feel they still have a lot to learn about each other. She emphasizes alot...is this bad?
By a third date, should some semblance of a romantic relationship be developing? I did give her a short kiss on the lips just before we left last time.

I think she is just being guarded. She doesn't want to jump into a relationship (romantically) too fast before she gets to know the person. If she is using jdate.com she wants to find the right person and not mess around. I think if you feel you really like this girl and you see a future with her go slow. Just follow her lead, she's just being cautious, which is a good thing.. Good luck to you! =)

Two or three dates is hardly enough time to make a call like that. You need to plan to do not only "fun" things together but also everyday stuff, such as shopping or whatever. Doing the "small" things together is really how you learn about each other and each other's feelings on things.

I wouldn't say that. I would think that you do both have a lot to learn. I think that it sounds like she really likes you, but she is scared about that, so she is saying that you have a lot to learn from each other to slow it down in her mind a bit. I think she is afraid of getting hurt. Stick it out, if you are having a good time, things will either get better or worse, then you can decide if you need to move on or not.

wow she is trying to take things slow and the guy is just really pushy and going too fast its likely that she has been hurt before and if the guy kinda cares about her he should slow his *** down

if you're not bumping ugly by the 3rd date you never will. women know in 10 seconds whether they will sleep with you or not.
