Cats are always sick regularly unfortunately. It's a normal part of their make-up and they do it to regurgitate all the fur they swallow from washing themselves. It's a shame yours seems to like doing it on your car.

I know it sounds gross but if you'd like some reassurance it might be worth taking a look at it next time he/she is sick. If it looks like furballs then no need to visit the vet but if not then it might be worth a visit just to make sure you're ok.

You say "on" your car so I"m assuming your cat goes outside?
If that's the case your cat maybe eating something outside that it making it sick.
It could be a plant of some sort...some of which are very toxic to cats...or worse yet someone in your neighborhood could be putting out poison.

My cats live indoors so they've never thrown up on my car, but they do throw up hairballs once in a while.

If your cat was throwing up hairballs you'd be able to see the hair.
If the vomit has a funny color to it, or the cat is acting odd please take it to a Vet ASAP.
It may have gotten into something that is toxic.
